Arizona state law for x-ray film and other medical records retention periodArizona law requires health care providers to store the x-ray and medical records of adult patients for 6 years after the patient received medical care. for minors doctors require to keep x-ray and medical until the patient reaches the age of 18 or for at least 6 years after the last date the patient received medical care. That adult's medical records will be kept for 6 years The AZ state also requires that minor's medical records will be kept until the minor becomes 18 years old.
